Major cities in Uttar Pradesh offer some accessible accommodation options, primarily in high-end hotels. Chains like Taj, Oberoi, and ITC often have rooms designed for wheelchair users. However, budget and mid-range accessible options are limited. In smaller towns and rural areas, finding suitable accessible accommodation can be challenging. It's crucial to confirm specific accessibility features directly with the property before booking.

Plan extensively and book services in advance. Consider hiring a local guide familiar with accessibility issues. Carry any necessary mobility aids, as equipment rental is limited. Be prepared for inaccessible bathrooms in many public areas. During religious festivals, crowds can make navigation difficult for people with disabilities. The best time to visit for more comfortable travel is from October to March, avoiding the extreme heat and monsoon seasons.
